Family Gras is the perfect getaway for family. Family Gras traditionally takes place on the neutral ground (median)  of Veterans Memorial Boulevard across from Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie, Louisiana. An ideal location to see the pageantry of Mardi Gras and enjoy the outdoor concerts with Live Music on the Festival Plaza Main Stage  by National Artists and Louisiana's own. 


FREE concerts, FREE Mardi Gras parades!  Fabulous Flambeau Food Court & Beverage Zones, Kid-friendly activities, an Art Market and more.  If you prefer an "up close & personal" experience with backstage access and premium stage viewing, access to VIP food & beverage, the VIP Royal Pass is available annually for purchase online at Ticketmaster.com.

MARDI GRAS PARADES!                   MARDI GRAS PARADES!

Friday  the celebration kicks off with the Krewe of Excalibur parade followed by the Krewe of Atlas parade! First parade arrives at Festival Site approximately 8:00 p.m.

Saturday is the traditional pageantry of the Krewe of Caesar Parade arriving at Festival Site approximately 7:00 p.


Sunday Carnival Parade 2014 is still to be determined, but will definitey be just as exciting!
