Family Gras is the perfect weekend getaway for family. Family Gras traditionally takes place on the neutral ground of Veterans Memorial Boulevard across from  Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie, Louisiana. An ideal location to see the pageantry of Mardi Gras and enjoy the FREE outdoor concerts with Live Music on the Festival Plaza Main Stage & The Krewe Stage from National Artists and Louisiana's own.

Costuming encouraged...come out for Fright Night Friday wearing your spookiest threads. Join us Sports Saturday wearing your favorite team colors, dress for the season...purple, green and gold; and on Carnival Sunday!
