SPOTLIGHT ON JEFFERSON
The 2013 Bucktown Bash, held annually on the 4th of July, brings back the tradition of the Blessing of the Fleet to Bucktown along with live entertainment, arts & crafts and Bucktown's finest restaurants participating as food vendors!

The Tour de Jefferson bike ride takes place during the Autumn months each year. An average of 600 riders enjoy perfect weather, great food, fabulous entertainment and a wonderful ride through 45 scenic miles of west Jefferson Parish. The ride usually starts at Bayou Segnette, up to the Mississippi River Trail, through the Jean Lafitte National Park and finally to the the Town of Lafitte and back.
