The Jefferson Convention and Visitors Bureau is committed to the marketing and promotion of Jefferson. JCVB members are provided up to date industry research, and opportunities for networking and growing business and community relationships. In addition to a member listing in the Family Fun Guide and online, members are able to showcase their business and/or event on our website, and via the member-to-member newsletter. The JCVB sales team works directly with members on distribution of leads, participation in tradeshows and other marketing related opportunities.

Advertising

Advertising and cooperative advertising opportunities for members are available through the Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Increased Business

The Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau will act as a referral service for its members, making available information on special events, research data and items of general interest.  In addition, the JCVB will encourage its convention clients to use the goods and services of the membership.

JCVB Updates and Quarterly Newsletter

The JCVB updates and quarterly newsletter will include information on industry happening and much more.  Members are allowed to submit announcements such as new hires, awards garnered and important information for inclusion in the newsletter.

JCVB Membership Breakfast Meetings

These gatherings are to provide members with an opportunity to learn about new programs and events, to network and share industry information with each other.  

Networking Opportunities

The JCVB partners with the Jefferson Chamber to provide members with an opportunity to meet and partner with the Jefferson business community.  The JCVB also invites our membership to participate in various networking events throughout the year.

Buy-In Opportunities

Members are offered Buy-In opportunities at trade shows exhibited by the JCVB. (Travel expenses not included).

Member to Member Benefits

Members will be able to offer discounts to other members through the quarterly newsletter to increase business in the local community.

Tax Deduction

Annual membership investment may be tax deductible as a business expense.

Brochure Listings

Specialty Guides:  These specialty guides are distributed to meeting planners and their delegates, are given away at trade shows attended by the JCVB staff and are mailed to potential visitors that have requested information on the area. These specialty publications include the Jefferson Parish Visitors Guide "Family Fun Guide" (the JCVB consumer response piece), and the JCVB DVD Meeting Planner Guide. Distribution of our Visitor Guides to the Louisiana Visitor Information Centers is made by the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association, Certified Folder Display Service, Inc. distributes to the greater New Orleans area.

On-Line Listings:  Members are listed on the JCVB website at www.experiencejefferson.com.  

Hyper-Links

Hyper-links are available at an additional charge and are subject to membership committee approval.  Hyper-links are included in membership for Level 1 & 2 members.

Trade Show Representation

The membership will be represented at all trade shows attended by the Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Convention & Group Leads

Definite leads from direct sales efforts, trade shows and other sources are available exclusively to members of JCVB.
