The Lafitte Seafood Festival is Jefferson's celebration of culture, strength, diversity, food and perseverance! The people of Lafitte certainly define - "Laissez les bon temps rouler" or Let the good time roll.

The bike ride takes place during the Autumn months each year. An average of 600 riders enjoy perfect weather, great food, fabulous entertainment and a wonderful ride through 45 scenic miles of west Jefferson Parish. The ride usually starts at Bayou Segnette, up to the Mississippi River Trail, through the Jean Lafitte National Park and finally to the the Town of Lafitte and back.
