Another great location is Lafitte, known for its scenic bayou hideaways. Westwego is the home of the Bayou Segnette State Park. This 600 acre park on the banks of Bayou Segnette is the state's most popular, offering campgrounds and nature trails. Harvey, a Westbank community located on the Harvey Canal, is a vital shipping route to the Gulf of Mexico and a perfect industrial location. On the Eastbank, locations such as Kenner and Metairie offer a business hub, Rivertown, and Laketown.
